On the Moon, one of the major locations of the planetary orbits caused by the asteroid hit the planet's satellites. It is called the South Pole-Aitken Basin of the Moon. There is no doubt that this huge hole has been created by the push of something on the moon billions of years ago. But astronomers have discovered a new phenomenon in the moon. Something of the unusual mass is hidden under the shaft.
A research article on this is published recently in the Geographical Research Letters. It is said that the South Pole-Aitken shock of the moon accumulates a large amount of mass under the canopy. Scientists have calculated that the mass is close to 9.5 quintillion pounds. Such a large mass is possible only if it is stored in heavy metals such as iron-nickel or gold.
It was as if a metal asteroid were trapped inside the moon at a tremendous speed and were trapped billions of years ago. So the shaft above, the mass below. Astronomers estimate that this happened about six years ago.
